The basics on ME.
Born in Boston, raised in Southern NH.
High School in Lawrence, a year of College at UMass Lowell, finished school studying recording and audio engineering in Brookline, MA.
Lived in Allston and the North End after college, then retreated to the suburbs.
I now live in Somerville, work in Southie.
I work full time at Yellin/McCarron Media, a Boston based advertising agency.
I'm a sucker for mob movies, blue eyed girls, and expensive audio gear.
I don't bullshit, I try not to open my mouth unless the words that come out are going to have impact.

Music is my life and besides my friends, it's the only thing that keeps me breathing. It occupies my mind every second of every day.
I love playing drums and skateboarding, but I don't do the latter near enough.
In my spare time I produce, record, and mix music, mostly hip hop and reggae (check out myspace.com/mattdefproductions for some of my work).
I've also done audio work for many local and national television and radio commercials as well as the audio mix for a local Boston area skate video, SUBTERRANEAN.
