I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Things you should know about me:
1. I’m a native Texan (and damned proud of it).
2. If you don’t like Texas…I don’t care (but feel free to stay the hell out!) We have ice cube trays that make ice in the shape of our state, so even our drinks kick ass.
3. I love the United States of America (we may not be perfect but nothing else even comes close).
4. If you don’t love the U.S.A….just leave. Seriously. Don’t try to mold it into the image of your crappy country. Oh, and if your country is so great, then why are you here?
5. I love my wife, family, friends and band, and would do anything for any of them.
6. My band is my dream and I pursue it with my whole heart – I couldn’t live with myself otherwise (and neither could anyone else).
7. I love beer. On payday, I drink Newcastle. In between pay periods, I drink Lonestar and Ziegenbock.
8. I’m politically active, and I firmly believe that if you don’t vote – then you have no right to complain. (so shut up!)
9. Hook ‘em Horns!
10. I actively campaign for the abolishment of the I.R.S. and the current tax code as a whole and support the proposal for the Fair Tax (national retail sales tax in lieu of an income based tax). Look up H.R. 25 or go to www.fairtax.org
11. I believe that doing the right thing is not always easy or popular, but is still necessary.
12. I believe in absolute morality.
13. I believe that the Dallas Cowboys will be great again…in my lifetime.
14. Gibson guitars are the best (I’m surprised that they aren’t made in Texas).
I can't stand phonies - particularly people who pretend to be a friend because they think that I can do something for them (or their band). Guess what...I'm nobody! I can't help you. So, if that is your motivation for sending me a friend request...don't bother!
"Champagne for my real friends, and real pain for my sham-friends."

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Killswitch Engage, Ron Paul, Machine Head, Jessica Alba, Neil Boortz, Les Paul, Chuck Liddell, Carlos Mencia, Colin Powell.

Music:

Classic Rock, Jazz, Texas Swing, Blues, Flamenco, Classical, Old-school Rap, Metal and pretty much all forms of heavy music. I like just about anything with good guitar in it, but there are always exceptions. I don't dig Emo or Screamo. I think it's the girl-pants and make up. Something about that seems kind of...I dunno...gay. Generally speaking I can't stand country or Tejano - both are like Kryptonite to me. I think that Ralphie Mae said it best, "A lot of white people from the South have flavor - they just supress it with country music."

National Bands: Living Sacrifice, Slayer, Hatebreed, Machine Head, Snapcase, In Flames, Fear Factory, Turmoil, Madball, Sick of It All, Killswitch Engage, Prong, Throwdown, Old Metallica, Old Megadeth, Chimaira, Meshuggah, Quicksand, White Zombie, Rob Zombie, N17, Circle of Dust, The Agony Scene, Bleed the Sky, Pantera, Damage Plan, Sepultura, Deliverance, Vengeance Rising, Cannibal Corpse, Embodyment, Between the Buried and Me, Bloodsimple, Mastsdon, Vision of Disorder, Some Earth Crisis, Jacknife.

Local/Unsigned bands: Angerkill, Brotherhood, Force Fed, Slow Motion Crush, PAIL, Buried in Fire, Within Chaos, Negative263, Grain, Holotype, Blood of Patriots, By Any Means Necessary, Hatchetwork, The Destro, Kritickill, 13 Muses, Lokey. Several others that I can't think of right now.

Movies:

Love and a .45, Grandma's Boy, Napoleon Dynamite, Buffalo 66, Smokey and the Bandit, Pulp Fiction, Terminator Series, Star Wars, Pecker, Resevior Dogs, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Office Space, All Cheech and Chong movies, Half Baked, Road Trip, Old School, Anchor Man, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Wallace & Gromit, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, I'm gonna get you Sucka, Rock Star, PCU, Talladega Nights, The Cell, UHF, Ford Fairlane, American Pie, The Patriot, Glory, Braveheart, Forrest Gump, The Big Lebowski, Predator Series, South Park, Beavis and Butthead Do America, Snatch, The Commitments, The Van, Shaun of the Dead, O Brother Where Art Thou, The Ladies Man, Trading Places, Fear of a Black Hat, Black Hawk Down, Donnie Brasco, Good Fellas, Casino, Joe Dirt, Mallrats, The Replacement Killers, True Romance, National Lampoon's Vacation & Christmas Vacation, Fletch & Fletch Lives, Jacob's Ladder, Saving Private Ryan, Meet the Parents, Falling Down, Enemy At the Gates, School of Rock. Actually, I guess there are too many to name.

Television:

Family Guy, Metalocalypse, Sports Center, The Simpsons, The Office, My Name is Earl, College Game Day, Cheers, Reno 911, King of the Hill, Futurama, Seinfeld, Mind of Mencia, Mythbusters, History Channel, UFC!!!!!

Books:

"The 10 Things you Can't Say in America" by Larry Elder, "Fair Tax Book" by Neal Boortz.

Heroes:

My Dad, My Grandpa and everyone else who has fought to preserve my freedom - no matter how much I take it for granted.
