Free Myspace Polls I'm trying to have as many friends as Tom got..lol..Plain and simple I love to have fun. I handles my bizness tho. Let me tell ya'll a little story about goheadandhate. As a child I was a skinny(and when I say skinny I mean 110lbs standing at 5'9)tomboyish little girl. I have 5 brothers and I'm the only girl.(so imagine what that was like)My mom and dad were divorced when I was real young so we struggled a bit. Therefore you know we wore hand me downs and shared rooms. Now me being a girl that really didn't benefit me much. My brothers they can share shoes allday and it look like they had different outfits. Me on the otherhand I wore their clothes but imagine how the boys looked at me. Really none of that mattered to me back then anyway so it all worked out for the best. Even tho I was real tomboyish I still got alot of attention that untill this day I'm still puzzled about. As I got older I met alot of girls who wanted to take me under their wings as little sister type, which I was cool with because I always wanted a sister. Wassup Yahayra and Stephanie I love you girls. Anyways as I hung with them they taught me how to do my make up, do my nails and how to accessorize. They taught me things that I will take with me for the rest of my life. In highschool is when I started to come out of my shell. I will never forget I was a junior and it was my first time wearing make up and any type of girl clothes. So I walked into school wearing some tight ass capris and nothing but a white tube top. The attention I got was overwhelming. Guys that I thought would never say anything to me were saying hi. I mean even the seniors were making their comments. The girls didn't like it tho. You know what I told them. GO AHEAD AND HATE. LOL...But after that day the shell was broken and I was officially a lady. Even tho I got in trouble and a teacher made me put a jacket on cuz back then they had enforced the dress code. Hey it was a memory that would last forever. If you noticed the tatoo on the lower back, it's a butterfly. I feel that the butterfly represents my transition. As you all should know the transition of a butterfly.(If you payed attention in science) A butterfly starts off as a caterpillar. I was just a little bug crawling around.(representing my young young days)Then the caterpillar goes into a cacoon.(I would say that represents the time when daddy left and I was dressing real tomboyish)Then once the caterpillar is done metamorphising it emerges into the world as a butterfly.(That represents who I am today) I am spreading my wings and flying. Today I work for a successfull mortgage broker. On the side I model, do music videos, and am taking a workshop to develop acting skills. I feel that I have come along way from when I was younger that I can proudly say I've been through it and survived it all. Anyone who knows me can vouch for that. Growing up wasn't easy for me nor was I someone that people can say they liked. Or matter of fact it all goes back to my sreen name I chose GOHEADANDHATE, cuz all my life I've been hated on. And it just took me awhile to realize what all the hatred was about. I'm a beautiful girl who never once got caught up in all the rift raft of what was happening then. I was just me. Happy and grateful to get what I can. I appreciate things way more than those who had it all their whole life. Clothes I take care of, Money I budget, everything I work hard for I cherish. I thank God everyday for keeping me safe and giving me oppurtunity to have my own things. Even with guys. Any guy thats been with me would say the same thing," She go all out for her man." Theres nothing I would change about my life. I'm happy with who I am. So for all inquiring on who I am. This is who I am and it don't get no realer than this. All you fake ass bitches that ain't got nothing nice to say I'ma tell you again "GOHEADANDHATE" MySpace Layouts @ HOT FreeLayouts.com love / music / movies Get Your Own! | View Slideshow

neo-soul, rap, r&b, rock(yes rockA Sista's Battle Ok...so I walk in and you see me. You see that my hair is done, my outfit is fierce and I carry myself like a lady. I smile at you but you roll your eyes at me, then, turn your head and whisper something to your girl. Why you hatin'?Ok... so maybe I'm a new employee and this is my first day at work. I almost thought I would be the only sistah in the joint until someone introduced us to each other. I smile and extend my hand, happy to know I won't be here alone. You smile and shake my hand, but there's insincerity in your eyes and your hand is limp. You seem guarded. What's wrong Ma'?Ok ...so maybe my man and I have been having problems. And since you've been my best friend for years, I confide in you that I think he's cheating on me.You offer your support. Until I find out that he's been cheating on me....with you! Why would you hurt me like that?I found your knife girl.....it's in my back. As women we battle daily. We battle keeping our families together, keeping our men happy and maintaining our presence in the workforce. With all that battling going on why in the world should we have to battle each other? Now I'm not saying every sistah has a knife...but some of you do....and you know who you are. Why is it that a woman can't get her glamour on without you having a problem? Why can't I get a blonde weave without you having something to say? If I'm working myself to death in the office trying to climb the corporate ladder...why am I suddenly a sellout? If I leave the room for a minute why can't I trust you around my man? Smiling in my face, but gossiping all my personal business behind my back? ......... You now have permission to consider yourself triflin'!Inferiority Complex. It makes us feel that in order to be someone special we have to put everyone else beneath us. Are we so insecure in ourselves that we can't feel good until we pull someone else down? There's something wrong here. We've come to envy those who've accomplished in their lives what we've only dreamed of having for ourselves. And when we fear we will never be able to get what we want - we steal it.There is a serious self-worth issue going on here. We're in a day and age where we should be encouraging each other and holding each other up. Sisterhood should not end when Oprah goes off. Truth be told, there will always be someone prettier, sexier, stronger, and smarter. I'm sorry Boo -that's just the way it is. But that's ok.....just do you!I don't care how good Beyonce' looks - if she walks into the same room I'm in , it doesn't make me any less of the diva I already am! I love admiring hairstyles...but there's no need to be jealous. Honey, nowadays there's enough hair for err-body. I have goals in life. There are things I strive to attain. Yet I seek out successful sisters because they keep me motivated.Life is so much more than who looks the best, who dresses the best and who makes more money. So, When you see your sister going for hers let it inspire you .... To do you!Lisa Triplett
