My name is Under Pressure, I am both an event and a magazine based out of graffiti. I came into being because the city of Montreal was constantly bad mouthing graffiti in the media. Then, fed up of all the bullshit the city was squacking, a couple of graffiti writers decided to hold an event to show the public that graffiti is not a gang thing, nor does it go hand-in-hand with violent crimes. One time, on the 6 o'clock news, a police officer lumped graffiti and rape in the same category. The first event was held in 1996 and we have steadily grown bigger, better and stronger since. Under Pressure is now also a magazine, focusing on graffiti, music, skate and whatever else comes across the editors minds. Now our enterprise has branched out to music, with the release of the 'Up North Trip' CD compilations, thus far 4 english and 1 french... ..>
