I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hmm... what to say about me. There's no way to describe yourself that'll really show someone who you are, but I'll try my best.
I love doing new things; trying new food, listening to new music, reading new books, going to new places, meeting new people.
I love doing old things; hanging out with old friends; sitting in old chairs that are perfectly formed to your butt; reading old books with that musty, I've-been-sitting-on-a-shelf-for-10-years smell; going to old, familiar places; eating old, comfort foods; and listening to my old, favorite bands that have helped me get through the years.
I love seeing the look in someone's eyes when you tell them they mean more than anything else in the world to you.
I love everyone in Brookings, SD.
I love Haylea and I love Chris.
I love my old roommates.
I love saying random things that make people think I'm mentally handicapped.
I love candles.
I love baking.
I love laughing so hard that I leak tears.
I love making people happy, even if I have to make a fool of myself to do it.
I love my mom.
I love my dad.
I love my brother.
I love listening to music until silence sounds weird.
I love the ocean.
I love reading.
I love acting and singing.
I love staying up all night and doing ridiculous things with my friends.. for example, raising hell in WalMart, writing ridiculous notes, eating EXTREMELY unhealthy food, playing video games until you fall asleep with the controller in your hands so the characters just run around in circles.
I love moving to new places.
I love my insomnia... even though I don't really love it.
I love sitting around watching movies all day.
I hate watching tv.
I hate being sad.
I hate being alone.
I hate the fact that I can't hear your voices anymore.
I hate that life is so hard to figure out.
I hate getting into theological discussions about the universe when it's too late at night to think... but don't ever believe me when I say that because I honestly miss it more than anything else. (We still need to make a religion, Chris! Bring on the Kool-aid! haha)
I hate being told what to do, especially when it's the wrong thing.
I hate being told I'm wrong, especially when I'm right.
I hate bad drivers and people with bad grammar.
I hate sluts.
I hate preppy girls that have no personality.
I hate girls that break my boys' hearts.
I wish that we could all live together.
I wish that it were easy to break into show business.
I wish that distance didn't mean that we couldn't see each other.
I wish that where you go in life didn't depend on who you know instead of what you do.
I wish that money didn't make a difference.
I wish that people wouldn't be judged by how they dress or the words they say.
I wish that people weren't racist.
I wish making new friends was easy.
I wish that I could find people that are interested in the same things that I am.
I wish that I had more discipline.
I wish I would get on learning Japanese and French.
I bet you wish I would shut the hell up, right?
Wish granted :)

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet people that are interested in the same things as me and that like to laugh a lot. People that like to watch movies and listen to music. People that like to learn and don't mind who they learn from. People that like trying and doing new things. People that like to travel. People that like to dance. People in SoCal. People that like to face hell with a smile and a middle finger. People that don't let life get them down. People that can rise above their situations and have fun no matter what's going on arond them. People that think the world is still beautiful no matter how much humans fuck it up. People that still have hope for humans even though we're the most fucked up thing on this god damn planet. People that can get lost in a good musical and love fine arts. People that can have fun going out or staying in. People that are drama free! People who have faith in themselves and their peers.

I don't want to meet creepers. People who just want to get in my pants. People who think they're God's gift to humanity. People who can't take a joke. People who can't make a joke. People who can't sit and enjoy a book/play/movie/musical for hours on end.
