I am in Healthcare, A Nurse by profession. I try to go the extra mile for those that have no one else, and I take the ones no one wants under my wing. I have always rooted for the underdog, maybe because I am one myself. I have developed who I am through alot of hardship..Good qualities are optimism, strength, humor, and smarts..bad qualities are needing affection and physical touch, a severe distaste for liars, users, and flakes. I now tend to disconnect completely from people associated with a hurtful event, although I do realize this is wrong. Just don't like feeling like I am setting myself up for another round. I have a temper and I won't allow myself to be bullied, but it would be just like me to completely concede, and swallow my pride just to get that affection back that I spoke about above. If you are passive aggressive, we won't get along, I would rather have it out and get on with life, then have festering feelings come out in piddely ways over time. I have been guilty of that too, but no more. I want to work in areas of the world that have the greatest needs, and I need to give of myself to feel complete... I enjoy simple things, a good cup of coffee, and yes, a cigarette too from time to time. I am sometimes up, and sometimes down, but humor heals me of whatever is on my heart.
