THROB RITUAL, from Los Angeles, was formed in late 2002 through the visions of Andy (guitar), Eddie (bass), Cesar (drums), and Josh (vocals). The intent of the band was to create the most progressive/original metal possible. In order to turn their visualization into reality, Juan (guitar) was enlisted, and the band was complete. Three years of progression and experience has yielded a new form of music, drawing upon elements from all spectrums. Countless shows and years of dedicated song writing have gained the band respect amongst the underground scene.
In May of 2006, THROB RITUAL entered Love Juice Studios in La Habra to record a 7 song demo. A local engineer assisted the band in their seven day endeavor, which included all of the tracking, mixing, and mastering. Their self-titled, self-released debut has broadened their horizons, increased their fan-base, and presented new opportunities. In support of their release, THROB RITUAL toured to numerous states including Nevada, Arizona, California, Oregon, and Washington. The writing process has began once again, and the band is now fully focused on their, as of yet, untitled debut album.
