Obliterated is a Progressive Death Metal band from the San Fernando/ Santa Clarita Valley’s. They use old style Death Metal and combine it with new style Death and Grind to give them their own original unique style, drawing influences from all sorts of metal as well. Obliterated's music and lyrics are crushing and original, basing the lyrics on things in this world they really despise and what most people are too afraid to say. They use technical riffs and unique soloing to make every song stand out. Obliterated formed in March of 2005 after Matt and James departed from their old band Dead Dreams and got their newest singer, Rick. Obliterated originally started as a four piece and then got another guitar player, their oldest friend Johnnie. To even sweeten the deal, Frank, another good friend, would be the new bass player. Obliterated’s style is very different and original they cannot be compared to just one or two bands. Since the start, Obliterated has been playing non stop shows all over winning fans at each one, no matter the size of the show. Obliterated has been dominating the underground since they started and will continue to do so for a long time!
