The end will come.
Rock will continue to expand and fracture. It will spiral out in almost infinite dilution until, unable to support its own corporate weight and the onanistic chase for the next big thing, it will collapse upon its own malaise.
And in the gaping, silent void, it will begin. An electric hum. A barely audible throb of bass. And then, in an explosion of fire and soul, a plaintive wail born of a bursting heart rushing forward to remake the world. All that came before will be naught but a vague ache in the collective unconscious, and finally, in this fleeting moment of abject purity, the time will be right.
The time is now.
