I just returned (okay so it's been about half a year now) to the flannel-entrenched, coffee-loving Pacific Northwest after two years in rural Japan teaching Japanese youth to say "What's up?" and "See ya". It was of course fun and aside from being away from family and friends, occasionally boring and lonely, hard to leave. It's kind of fun being a superstar celebrity, but it can be wearing as well.
Read my blog WAKARIMASHITA.com for entertaining (or at least my Mom thinks so) stories. Wakarimashita actually means "I understood" in Japanese just in case you were curious.
