Last Trancient is the collaboration of David Owen (DSO) and Richard Conway (RED). A funky house dj/producer and a guitar freak are not the usual combination for creating a trance duo, but somehow it happened! Maybe it was something in the air, or the water? Either way, ten years later and here they are, armed with a collection of genre-defying beats.
With regular guest vocalist Melanie Jay, the boys get their creative juices flowing and leave the studio armed with new and exciting sounds. Not ones for being pigeonholed with a particular style, they prefer to describe their music as electronica with an underlying hint of trance.
However their sound is best described is probably a matter of personal choice. Hopefully it will be viewed as engaging, uplifting and
timeless.
