Bryant Welch here. You might call me Welcher, Chief, Cheese, B Dubb, Vealch, 'cher, or Jerome, but you can give me a new nickname if you'd like. I have an NPR mind in a Fox News world. I have long eyelashes, big feet, double-jointed thumbs and I've never broken a bone beyond some elbow and tooth chips. I'm always on a quest for fun with a good soundtrack, so catch me if you can.I'm a first-gen Vermonter, which means I'm only 5 generations away from being a true Vermonter. Sounds like a challenge to me.18 years in Burlington, 6 in DC, 1 more in Burlington, working on my 3rd here in Beantown, although I hardly stay put for long. If all goes according to plan, I should be graduating with my J.D. this May.

All things Vermont (especially maple syrup), being outside (especially in VT), playing guitar (especially electric), watching sports (especially in person), playing sports (especially ice hockey), sushi (especially spicy hamachi), extra hoppy beer (especially Magic Hat HiPA and Tupper's Hop Pocket), fine single malt scotches (especially Talisker), using parentheses (especially here).
