About Me

I am a professional reggae musician/artist. I play many instruments (guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and percussion) and sing, both leads and harmonies. I write/cowrite lyrics, and I also produce music that I create, along with music from other genres that I turn into reggae (soul, motown, rock). I have played festivals as lead singer/guitarist, as a bass player, and have toured as a keyboardist/background vocalist. I have experience with live sound engineering, and some with studio engineering. I currently have a band that I front (myspace/Renegade Tribe) that plays every Wednesday in downtown Fullerton (Back Alley), a band (myspace/fullwattz) from the Inland Empire that I play keyboards/sing on alternating Sundays in Claremont (T. Phillips), a dancehall reggae band (the HIGH five) where I play bass, keys and sing, and I substitute on either keyboards or guitar for a Bob Marley tribute band (One Drop Redemption).

My Interests

Music:

Reggae (ska, rocksteady, dub, roots, lover's rock, dancehall), Soul, Motown, Rock, anything that involves good singing/harmonies and can move me. I appreciate good hip hop, classical, jazz, funk, experimental, spoken word. I like music that has a positive message, one that can unite people rather than seperate.

Movies:

historic, comedic, dramatic, thought provoking, controversial (though not all).
