Primary: The first thing you should think about when you hear music.
B-Drastic, brings voice, hype, and flavor to the group Primary. He is self-proclaimed to be the "Black Steven Seagal”. He hails from Queens, New York where he remembers a history full of poverty. He always wanted more. Not just for himself but for the ones he loves the most, his family. Watching the people he grew up with make music, get together, and vibe was something that inspired him to follow his music career. He knew if he could make it in the music business than there would still be hope to provide for himself and his family. This is the influence that sparks ambition in the man he is today.
Young Ace,"Mr.48" brings perfection, creativity, and ridiculous word play to Primary. He is the self-proclaimed to be the "Prince of New York”. When it comes down to laying down tracks and recording, forget books because he does not need them. He Hails from Brooklyn, New York where life in the projects was pressuring down on him. It felt like there was no way out and choosing the easy way was not the best way. Music was something he grew up around since birth. Pursuing his music career is something he feels he is destined to do. His biggest influence today is his family and the ones he loves the most. He wants to give back to those who are always there for him and will always go by family first.
Jay Skope, "Jay 2 Da S." "The Dominican Prince" Brings versatility, knowledge, and character to Primary. Not only does he rap, but he produces most of the tracks. He spends endless nights mixing down the tracks to perfection. He hails from Long Island, New York. Growing up for him was different due to constantly moving up and down the East Coast. He had to adapt to everything new he encountered, which was not easy. What influenced him to love music the way he does today is credited to one of his cousins from the Bronx and the way love was shown no matter what. Being that his mother is alone now raising two kids on her own is what inspires him to continue his music career. He started off writing poetry and making beats, but the friends he met who later formed Primary encouraged him to be the rapper he is today.
Young Stiles, “Danii Dior” Brings versatility, uniqueness, and style to Primary. His flow is always unexpected and when its time to write, time is unnecessary. He hails from Harlem, New York where hustling was something he was accustomed to. Most of the people he grew up with was known as the wrong crowd. His passion to succeed in life was the most important thing to him because he knew it would be well worth it in the future. With many talents he later found his love for music. What inspired him to begin a music career and take it seriously was his friends Drastic, Ace, and Jay S which he later met known as Primary today.
This group of individuals was formed in the beginning of 2003. They started off without a group name, but still managed to attract fans. Originally they began off with just three and ended up four in 2004. How they all met up in high school in Long Island was ironic. They later on formed the group u know today, Primary.
Now Primary is working on getting that buzz they need and continue to make music to put together an album. To them rap is like basketball. There is always going to be someone playing to get better while your sleeping. So they stay up and continue working so when it comes time for the big leagues, they will be at their best. Everybody can rap and even tries to and Primary has witnessed this many times but one thing that seperates them from everyone else is that they know how to make songs and hits.
