I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm 27 (oh, it hurts to write that) and all about the music. Not one thing goes on in my daily life that doesn't involve a soundtrack. Or a camera. And eventually, my Mac. And, what would a day be without Jimmy? Fucking boring, is what it'd be.
I'm a music photographer that has a serious addiction to shooting shows. Is your band on its way up? Do you need some photos taken for your myspace, website or press kit? I can also be a TOUR photographer... so if you've got something cooking and want it documented - let me know. You can contact me through this or through my photoblog, www.TheRockNRollPictureShow.com.
In the meantime I work my ass off freelancing (graphics/photography), supporting my love's band THE FRANTIC - CHECK THEM OUT AND ADD THEM RIGHT NOW!!! and fulltime for a book packaging company.
Need a book designed? Gimme a shout. Need photos of you and your friends/of your band/of a special event? Get in touch.
You can check out some of my design and photography work at www.Lucky17Consulting.com .
And now, for some shameless self-promotion. These are some samples of some of my music and wedding photography. More to come real soon... Get Your Own! | View Slideshow
Here's a November 2007 Update for you all. Here's a new slideshow of some recent concert work. Don't be shy. Hit me up if your band needs photography. Enjoy.

Otherwise, be my friend. I like meeting new people through this devilbox.
By the way... click this link to visit the myspace page of a great movie about the life of the ultimate punk rocker. Then, go buy the movie. It was made by a personal friend of Joe's. Keep his message alive!
Want this badge?OH, and PHILO - also from my hometown... fucking owns.
Are you a web designer? How about a photographer looking for a good hosting company for your business? What about a Graphic Artist that needs space for her .. portfolio? I was all of those, and that's why this is here. Are you just not sure who to use for your web hosting? There are a lot of shitty companies out there, and it sucks to be dicked over. Well, I've been using LUNARPAGES for almost 5 years now and I couldn't be happier. I've got three sites hosted with them. It's $7 per month and you literally get a shitload of features. Put your photos, artwork, blog or music .. on the cheap. Click on the banner below to sign up w/ a great company. I'm an affiliate, and that means I get a commission if you sign up through me. I'm not doing this because I am trying to swindle people, this company's been very good to me and I like to share cool shit with people I know. So, if you're gonna sign up, please use the link below and help a starving artist out. I can hardly afford drinks at the mill hill these days. Seriously.
I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

Music, Photography *wink wink*, Film, Graphic Arts, Macs, Yoga, Tai Chi, Eastern philosophy and medicine, Black Dye, Black Dye remover (a big fuck you to all the sloppy stylists out there... ruining my favorite shirt!!!)... and a bunch of other stuff I'm too lazy to type.

I'd like to meet:

Someone who will sing me Weezer's "Suzanne," and put "Michelle" in instead.

Music:

GREEN DAY, The Clash, Ramones, Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros, Bad Religion, Ben Folds, Burndown Allstars, The Bitter Sweethearts, DJ Micro, Donald Glaude, DJ Irene, DJ Odi, Roni Size and Reprazent, Alk3, Beatsies, Bad Boy Bill, Black Keys, Bob Marley, The Caesars, Cake, Cursive, De La Soul, Deftones, The Donnas, Elvis Costello, Fighters of Foo, the muthafuckin FRANTIC!!!!, God Awfuls, Goldfinger, Incubus, Jay-Z, Jet, Jimmy Eat World, J5, The Kinks, Missy, The Network, No Doubt, NoFX, Ok GO, Pennywise, Phantom Planet, Radiohead, RBF, Stiff little fingers, The Subways, Sublime, SOAD, Thrice, Tool, =W=, The White Stripes, The Who, SRV, Yeah Yeah Yeahs... and a bunch more.

Since you've read this far, check out my love's band THE FRANTIC and make them your friend. Do it, man. Do it now!!!

Television:

24 and the Sopranos. Occasionally I can be caught watching my guilty pleasure... America's Next Top Model. Before you groan - here's why I watch... the girls ultimately have to be photographed at the end of the show. Seeing as I'd like to start doing fashion work, I watch the pros do it - the lights, the poses, how to deal with hungry anorexic girls... it's educational. Seriously.

Books:

I just read Marley & Me and cried my eyeballs out. Recent reads have been "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues" by Tom Robbins (he's GREAT!), "Heavier than Heaven" (the Kurt Cobain Bio), "Love and Death: The Murder of Kurt Cobain" by Max Wallace and Ian Halperin (made me hate Courtney even MORE than I already do), "Good in Bed" by Jennifer Weiner (an impulse airport bookstore purchase because my ipod died, but it was good), and right now I'm reading "The DaVinci Code" and don't want to see the movie until I've read the whole damn thing.

Heroes:

Girls - cool girls. Girls who know what it's like to be FRIENDS with a guy and nothing more. Girls who don't make a scene over nonsense. I want to meet some ladies who aren't pains in the ass, crazy, or whores who lie to your face and/or try and steal your man behind your back (or sometimes, right in front of you). I'm sick of being the one girl who thinks the rest of the women in the world all suck balls. Please, someone prove me wrong. Hanging out with boys is fun and all... but I need a shopping partner for fuck's sake.

My Blog
