Przemek Jarosz

Przemek Jarosz has been a member of Aleksander Mazur's Big Band since 1999. Prizes received so far: Grand Prix of International Big Band Festival in Nowy Tomysl in 2002 & 2003; First Individual Price for the best instrumentalist 2002 and Honorable Mention for the best instrumentalist in 2003; 3rd price for O.K.E.J. Quintet during Jazz Juniors Competition 2002 and 2nd price during Krokus Jazz Festival in 2002; 2nd price for Quake Jazz Quartet during Jazz Juniors Competition 2003; Grand Prix of Rura Jazz Festival for Acoustic Jazz Quartet in 2005. Currently Przemyslaw Jarosz is a faculty member at Academy of Music in Wroclaw, Poland as well as a sideman in many musical projects. He has performed with P. Wojtasik, G. Nagórski, D. Luciani, J. Niedziela, J. Mencel and P. Baron to name a few. 2 album released so far: Passions by Kasia Stankowska and Claude Bolling Suite for flute and piano jazz trio by Elzbieta Wolenska.
