My name is Massimo Albrizio. I am a bass guitar player and a producer, mainly in Rock and Electro Pop music, but I like all music styles. I'm looking for a partnership in London to start producing original musical projects.
Personal Background:
I taught myself to play the bass since 1994. The first types of music I was interested in were jazz, blues, R'nB and pop like reggae and dub. I was trained in several cover bands. Actually, Blues and Dub trends in my hometown have been very important for my personal taste of music. Since 1999 I have worked as a bass guitar player, sound technician and producer in pop and independent musical environment. Since 2001 I have kept recording in my own studio (Kick Studio): that was a period of rich artistic collaboration with local partnerships. In that period my own Rock-Electro style has matured and is still the style I prefer as a live bass player. In 2003 I started composing and producing music and sound design in stereo and surround format for video. In the same year I started my activity as a "Steinberg Trainer", designing and running courses in order to give musicians the knowledge to use new technological tools. In November 2005 I moved to Rome. While I was continuing giving courses, I improved my skills in miking techniques for acoustical instruments, through collaborations with classical and folk musicians. In the same period I have deepened my interest for Electronics thanks to the roman Electro-Minimal music environment. In November 2007 I moved to London in order to develop my work as a sound editor and start new musical projects as well. I currently live in London.
