Shock Bomb is a whiplashing contrast of Power pop, electronic Punk, Heavy Metal, and Rock band based out of the unlikely state of Oklahoma. Shock Bomb was formed in order to express particular musical ideas left unrealized by the bands originators.
The founding members Erik and Marty have a long history of playing music together live, as well as writing and recording. In Summer 2007 the duo forged plans to create their own musical compositions without the shackles of fashion trends, soul crushing billboard chart conformity, or branding pillory that almost always insures musical boredom designed to fit Radio advertising’s idea of what is programmable.
In the past, musical value never needed modernity’s icy fingers clawing at its throat, and this remains true today. Shock Bomb hopes to find its audience though a demonstration of something better.
