I've changed quite a bit in the last few months, so I've decided to update everyone through MySpace. I still consider myself having a balanced personality, but I now know that it is my extremes that are balancing. I habitually become what my brother describes as hyper-focused on things, but then turn right back around and scatter myself amongst several projects at once. I, as well as anyone that knows me, describe me as mellow and passive, but inside my thoughts it's comforting to rage against what I feel as unjust.
My first choice of profession is directly related to technology. I am the master of computer science, logic, and critical thinking. I am all about anything that has to do with computers. I design, construct, and manage databases, online or otherwise. I also make flash art every once-in-a-while and I have a list of websites to make about three years long. I build custom computers and fix old and broken ones too. I go to annual LAN parties like QuakeCon every year as well as hold them myself. I try to keep up with the CPL and love to play video games. Check out the old demos I posted in My Videos section. So to clear up any confusion and to sum all of that up into four little words... I am a NERD!
I love the outdoors: the beach, the river, mountains, whatever! It doesn't matter if I'm skiing the mountain, surfing a wave, tubing some rapids, biking the woods, or chilaxin in my hammock in the backyard. You see, the outdoors is like the ying to my yang. It's a completely different world from the artificially lit, processor warmed office that I sit in front of my computer in all day, every day. I love soft, cool breezes that make things move, and the sound of a tree as its green leaves sway contentedly in the wind. I love the sound of bird chirping playfully at each other and the rain as it lands in the already glistening wet grass. Did I mention that I love the outdoors?
My new first priority and short term goal is to finally decide the direction of my company. Right now I am balancing between working for an old, established business man, partnering with a young, enthusiastic entrepreneur, of just finishing doing what I started and finish my product and organization all by my lonesome. I've developed a system for deploying highly advanced websites that harness the power of SQL servers and PHP, are portable to any and every kind of e-commerce, and are single owner manageable through the implementation of drop-shipping and just-in-time inventory. These websites also can incorporate all previous databases used by whatever company into one index-able conglomeration of data. It does not really matter if you know what I'm talking about, as long as you get this from it: No matter what I decide, or which path I decide to travel, once I am through with this project, I will be a millionaire.
