KEN COOK of MCKINLEY AVE

McKinley Ave!

About Me

I'm the only child of two of the most spectacular parents alive; they're in good health and good spirits back in Cincinnati. I graduated Ball State University and life's winding roads, pot holes and pit stops started coming from out of nowhere. I currently live in a little place just outside of Chicago (no idea how that happened) and I maintain a pretty regular existence. I work. I sleep. I do a few fun things somewhere between the two. And as most of you know, I'm really big into getting my music career off the ground (oh, those pot holes in the road). For those of you I haven't seen or spoken to in a while, please know that I love and miss each of you. I sometimes get tangled in my cord, and you have my sincerest and deepest apologies. Hmm, beyond that, I guess there's not much more to say for a while. You know I don't check my myspace that often. Aight. This job sucks. I'm out. Kiss the rings bitch. I get my Free MySpace Layouts at MySpaceStop.com

My Interests

I'm not interested in much more than family, friends, laughter and music! I don't do much.

I'd like to meet:

Jesus Christ. Jay-Z. Will Smith. My Granny one more time...oh and THEN Jessica Alba, Autumn Reeser, Alexis Bledel and Kelly Rowland - yes, all for the stereotypical reasons!

Music:

McKinley Ave is dope as hell!

Movies:

I like it all. I'm more into the comedies, but a good quality scare is good...as are action flicks...and tear jerkers. Hell, from Sin City to Coming to America to Steel Magnolias, I like it all. And yeah, I said Steel Magnolias!

Television:

There's too much to narrow it down. HBO's got it on lock right now. The Wire and Entourage are definitely my favorite joints. I'm going through withdraw right now. Poor Bodie!

Books:

I'm currently reading "A Lesson Before Dying" by Ernest Gaines. It takes place in 1940s Louisiana, where racial tensions were obviously at their highest. It's about a young black man who may or may not have been responsible for murdering a store clerk, but gets sentenced to death and is forced to evaluate his life and what he may have taken for granted throughout its course.

Heroes:

Anybody courageous enough to step out on faith and outside of his or her comfort zone is admirable in my opinion.
