So, this is where I get to write my resume. Sweet! I love to travel, see different cultures, eat different food and people watch in different places. I love cooking and eating!!! To go along with wonderful food, I love wine and good beer. I have been practicing yoga for about five years and it has been great for my emotional and physical health. I like to read, listen to NPR and good music. I enjoy writing, public speaking, and debating. When it comes down to it though, I am happiest when I have lazy days to spend time with the people I care about. The only thing better in the world is sex...yeah, suffice to say that sex is definately one of my major interests. I am also a soccer fan, so I am very depressed that the World Cup is over.
Your Dosha is Pitta
You have a quick mind, a gift for persuasion, and a sharp sense of humor.
You have both the drive and people skills to be a very successful leader.
Argumentative and a bit stubborn, you have been known to be a little too set in your ways.
But while you may be biased toward your own point of view, you are always honest, fair, and ethical.
With friends: You are outgoing and open to anyone who might want to talk to you
In love: You are picky but passionate
To achieve more balance: Be less judgmental of those around you, and take cool walks in the moonlight.
What's Your Dosha?
Your Ideal Relationship is Polyamory
You want to have your cake... and everyone else's.
Which isn't a bad thing, if everyone else gets to eat too!
You're too much of a free spirit to be tied down by a traditional relationship.
You think relationships should be open and free, with few restrictions.
What's Your Ideal Relationship?
You Are a Soy Latte
At your best, you are: free spirited, down to earth, and relaxed
At your worst, you are: dogmatic and picky
You drink coffee when: you need a pick me up, and green tea isn't cutting it
Your caffeine addiction level: medium
What Kind of Coffee Are You?
I really don't like meeting strangers over the Internet. That's just creepy. So, I'm here to hang out with my friends, aka the greatest people in the world! I hate pretentious folks and whiners. I love enthusiastic, motivated, lively people who are busy having a good time. I believe that our quality of life is basically determined by how we chose to react to all of the situations that arise around us and I admire people who decide to be happy.
I am paring down my original list. I like most styles of music and feel that there is a time and a place for pretty much anything, even clown music (MARTIN!!!!). I tend to prefer a simple set up...singer/songwriter plus guitar, but there are no rules in my playlist.
I love film. I will jump at the chance to see pretty much anything that I haven't seen before. A few of my favorites from my collection are To End All Wars, Upside of Anger, Inherit the Wind, Big Fish, House of Sand and Fog, Hotel Rwanda, The Princess Bride, thirteen, The Secretary, and any movie directed by Clint Eastwood.
You mean that box in the corner that I kick every time the cable provider screws me out of a soccer game? Yeah, I have very little use for television. In fact, I think that quite a few of the maladies in our society could be fixed by outlawing TV. If I have to watch something, it is likely to be Southpark.
I read at least one book a week. I do not restrict myself to any particular genre. I read poetry and prose, fiction and nonfiction. I prefer equally authors with well-crafted, intricate plots, and those that are more philosophical. Some of the books I've recently finished and liked: "It Can't Happen Here", "Damien", "It Came from Memphis", "100 Years of Solitude", and "Freakonomics".
My parents. I love my father for being genuine, always remembering where he came from, and continuing to grow as a person and pursue new interests into his middle-age. I revere my mother for being the most kind-hearted and fair person in the world and taking the time to try and teach that to me. I look up to my husband for finding entertainment in simplicity, never being bored, and being completely open to new experiences. Actually, I could consider almost everyone in my family, including my nearest and dearest friends to be my heroes. I am also a wannabee dictator, so I am inspired by Machiavelli and Napoleon and Delilah...for using her feminine wiles for a grand political purpose...
