G Brains, quickly became a favorite of a number of Jamaica..s biggest sound systems; trading lyrical ability with the likes of Papa San, Peter Metro, Kelly Ranking, Beenie Man, Isiah Mentor and many more. .His big break came in 1985 when he toured the Unites States with Lees Unlimited, one of Jamaica..s leading dancehall sound system. He has since rocked dancehalls everywhere and has earned a reputation of being a true Reggae veteran. His musical skills have influenced artistes such as Luciano in the early stages of his career. Getting his inspiration from his life and experiences in the streets, General Brains gives the message of awareness, hope, positive vibe and love in his music.
