About Me

Married for 37 years to my high school sweetheart and best friend, Dan. Mother to 4 of the greatest people on earth -- Holly, Andrea (Annie), John (Johnny) and Tyler. All very talented musicians and actors as well as intelligent, caring human beings. My favorite son-in-love, Chris, and daughter-in-love Jessy help round out the family (hate the term in-law). Finally, there is number 1 grandson, Holden, who belongs to Holly and Chris and he is quite the little boy -- gorgeous and smart and only two. Could you imagine otherwise? My love is my family, my passion is reading, music and theater (I like movies a lot too), my livelihood is costuming. I do not like mean people who do harm to anyone, especially my family and friends!!! Good food, good music and good friends and family make a perfect day. Sun, water and sand make life enjoyable. I believe in helping anyone in need in whatever way you can -- whether it be through friendship, a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear or more prevalent needs such as food, shelter or clothing. I love to laugh and sing, I hate to cry. I own Center Stage Costumes in Evansville, Indiana, and work with the tri-state area of Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois building and renting costumes for any kind of production you can think of, but mostly theatrical productions done by schools, community theaters, and churches. I also do masquerade rentals -- just no scary stuff. Have been in business 9 years and have an amazing inventory of vintage and original costumes (12,000 square feet and growing). I spend many, many hours working, reading scripts, designing and building costumes -- too many actually but I love what I do and do it for the arts!!! Everyone can enjoy any discipline in the arts all of their life and what would life be without music, drama, movies, paintings, sculpture, photography, dance, or literature? I don't think it would be worth living do you? And now for the question of the day -- is Tom everyone's friend in the world?Layout powered by HOT FreeLayouts
