im new to all this blog stuff but i constantly talk nonsense and people keep telling me i should write stuff so heres a good start as any!
really into music right now and dare i say it i think i may be emerging as a bit of an 'indie' fan. sorry. i know my addmittance of that will come as a shock to my nearest and dearest. but im ever an open minded person and thanks to my varied friends, im still learning about 'emo' and hard rock and ska. music is a magic - i only wish i could cast a spell.....
what else, i have been known to write poetry but thats kinda dried up now. its a great therapy for the mentalness that can be life - maybe i'll give a glimpse of that here somewhere. a poem i wrote about children has been hung on a wall in the bbc offices for children in need, yey me even if i do say so myself!
i also make greetings cards which is great and there are so many millions of things you can do and i only know a mere few of them but its so cool although i have come to the conclusion that glitter is the craft tool of the devil and should be avoided at all costs. im about to hold my annual 'card party' at my nana's house where i sit about eating and getting fat and (slightly) rich while others select a supply of cards from my current range.
i have a really strange thing about penguins. i dont know why. suzy mallet adopted one for me at edinburgh zoo this year.
i love retro style trainers. i love novelty socks. i love maroon 5. i love reading biographies of people who have come through certain traumas and tragidies in life. i love my friends. i love making people laugh. i love making people smile. i love to think i could make a difference. sometimes, i even love being annoying!
