About Me

hmm que dire. je suis etudiant à l'université du Texas à Austin. j'aime l'art, jouer des instruments de musique, et voyager. j'aime lire aussi. j'aime Indochine, ils sont mon groupe de rock préféré.
i'm jésûs. i get teased a lot for my name but that's what you get for being Spanish and awesome (throw some French in there too, so I guess I'm Franish), i'm also hispanic and basque. people know me for my optimism, sense of humour, guts, and ability to carry 10 times my body weight in conversation. I'm part pre-medical student(2008), scientist, part musician, and all awesome (well that last one's subjective haha).
I play violin and guitar for fun and I'm pretty big on traveling and cycling. I'm also trying my hand at oil painting. Toast is the greatest thing on earth. I have weaknesses for art, nice smiles, nuclear disarmament, naps, and string instruments. i typically have a joke for every situation. i'm all about foreign films and mediterranean food. i salsa well sometimes kinda.
my awkwardness makes me awesome, at least i think that's how it goes. I'm working to get accepted to an MD or MD/PhD program and specialize emergency medicine, maybe even interventional cardiology or radiology. one of my life dreams is to start a foundation to help make school a reality for Afghani and latin american kids.
right now i'm thinking about taking a year off after I graduate to do cancer/neurodegenerative research and also travel around and have fun haha. one of my life goals is to do a Tour de France or Giro d'Italia.
I'm always up for conversation. aim--in thine honour
"On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." -Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
my url name is from battleships and their guns of high calibre; I'm not conceited and of high calibre, ha.
