Hey, I'm Jennifer. As you can tell from my tagline, I'm in remission from the disease that changed my life: cancer! Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) to be exact. Although I still undergo treatment and infusions, the cancer is at bay where I hope it will stay for some time! OK, about me: I've learned that life is too unpredictable to sit back and let things happen. I love to laugh, love to be with my friends, absolutely adore my family and believe that beer is a food group! I've compiled a list of things I've always wanted to do in my life and will do them all. I've become more whimsical - doing things in the now. I consider myself a very loyal friend. I love to do things for people and help whenever someone needs me. I love to cook, shoot pool and work in the yard. I don't like arrogance, people who are self-centered and ignorance. Although I'm athletic and love all sports, you can usually find me at the local bar. Favorite shot is Jamesons Irish Whiskey. I'm proud of my family and my Irish roots. Karaoke was a great invention although some people should not sing. I'm not necessarily religious but you could call me faithful. I'm a sentimental mush and will tell you exactly how I feel. I believe that everything in life happens for a reason and that you were meant to meet certain people. Don't talk to me about money, politics or religion. Or worse, don't try to lecture me about your beliefs on money, politics or religion. Chicken caesar salad and shrimp scampi are my favorite foods.
