I write, books mostly, stories, articles and sometimes poetry. Most of the time I write together with my husband (that is Roger ) Other than that I love my kids and I love dogs (and cats, and birds, and bunnies, and....)
I write in many genres, mystery, suspense, horror and humor, but most I love writing childrens books and I love magical imaginations.

We took Buddy to the vet today (08/28), he's been having serious trouble walking. And, unfortunately the Vet came up with two options for Buddy, either have a total hip replacement or he needs to be put down. Due to he has severe arthritis and hip dysplasia. I never cried so hard over a dog as I did today, and Buddy is a very loving dog. I would carry him around for the rest of his life, but he's just too big of a dog to carry around. My friend told me about this program called "Chip-in", where I could see if friends and family would chip in to help paying for Buddy's surgery.
Here's a little information about a total hip replacement for Buddy, "This dog hip surgery is commonly performed for dogs with hip dysplasia and severe arthritis, and may also be performed for poorly healed fractures of either the "ball" or the "socket." In this surgery, the "ball" of the hip joint is replaced with stainless steel and the "socket" is replaced with high density plastic. The prosthetic (artificial hip) is either cemented in place or the bone is allowed to grow and hold the pieces together." He should recover in 12-16 weeks.
I have a $1,000 put away in savings, for emergency purposes, and I would use that towards the surgery. I'm giving until October 1st, or maybe longer if it the chip-in meets half way or more. If not, he's going to have to be put to sleep unfortunately. Due to I don't want Buddy to live in pain for as long as he has to, and it's only going to get worse the Vet said. He gave him some temporary pain medication. If he doesn't make it that long, and it hasn't reached it's goal, I'm going to donate what was given to Buddy's contribution for his hip surgery to the ASPCA : The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The total cost of the surgery, would be $5223.68 paid in full, and the vet will not make payment arrangements, since this is not considered an emergency.
