REDSWITCH

About Me

Redswitch is a rock band based in Santa Barbara, California. Redswitch's original sound comes from a combination of their love, of rock n' roll, punk rock, reggae, alternative rock, hard rock and metal. It is their desire to create music that they enjoy listening to and enjoy playing, that keeps them fired up . Craig Donen and Justin Romain started off playing for friends and family at parties and BBQ’s in 2003. The two continued to write and refine new material and added a drummer and bass player to the mix. Jay Neel joined as the bass man in early 2005 and has been a dedicated and creatively involved member ever since. Just recently, Macy Lucarelli "signed on" to be the new drummer. Macy’s skill as a drummer has brought a fresh and exciting element to the music creation process for Redswitch. After five years of practicing and rehearsing, and over 30 original songs and covers, Redswitch finally felt ready to perform for the public in late 2007. With a number of performances at many local night clubs and bars, two county fairs and a battle of the bands, ’08 was their most prolific year yet. Redswitch is currently working on putting together their first studio album and is looking forward to the future, and always looking for their next show.
