About Me

You always want to go to some new dark lugubrious airport; I always say "Oh, no. It looks like rain." I would rather try out some new dark delirious disport-- but when it rains, you look like "Kafka on Parade".
You Are A Weeping Willow Tree
You are a dreamer, and you're into almost any kind of escapism.
Restless and capricious, you love to travel to exotic places.
You are easily influenced by others, as long as they don't pressure you.
You tend to suffer in love until you find that one loyal, steadfast partner.
An empathetic friend, you love to make others smile and laugh. What's Your Celtic Horoscope? Home | Browse | Search | Invite | Film | Mail | Blog | Favorites | Forum | Groups | Events | Videos | Music | Comedy | Classifieds

How many have your name?

You Are Modernism
You tend to be oriented toward the future and technology.
You like art that signals how the world might change in radical ways.
As far as art goes, everything in the past is obsolete - and it's time to carve a new path.
You prefer art that doesn't follow any rules - even if the art doesn't make much sense. What Art Movement Are You?

I'd like to meet:

Emily Dickinson and Sylvia Plath for their various and to me perverse obscurities; Salvador Dali for the divine mustaches and impossibly, yes destructively, erotic eyes; The Marquis de Sade to enjoy the level of conversation to which I have become accustomed; Jean Cocteau for the ineffably sad and tragic passing of beauty and a lifetime addiction to transcending reality; Thomas Mann for teaching me how to go on the "DL" in a fun way at an early age {I mean, like "La-Bas": think Felix Krull}; Derek Jarman for truly teaching me how to go out there and walk on the edge, tripping blindly toward the becoming of a new reality, however far; my boys Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley for serenading me through it all; Andy Warhol for the ultimate sang-froid-chic testimony to the pointlessness of eternity {with specific intimations of Edie}; Klaus Nomi in order to invoke other uncanny reminiscences; Jean-Michel Basquiat and Pier Paolo Pasolini for keeping it all real {thanks, guys, by the way!}; Mallarme for remaining ill-equipped--the man who went so far in drollery as to say, “Any kiss now would certainly kill me, if Beauty itself were not already Death”; Gilgamesh and Ancient Proto-Mesopotamian Culture for making me stronger; Mother Africa for making me ubiquitous; Nietzsche for keeping it real simple and reading the cards close to the chest; Deleuze and Guattari for breaking on through to the other side; “Mock on! Mock on, Voltaire, Rousseau”; Huysmans for helping to make perversity plentiful and thus that much more enjoyable; Baudelaire for opening my heart to that Titanic Crypt; Rimbaud for showing me how to truly love a Giant Irate Negro; Kierkegaard for keeping me mystified; Plato, for his “Symposia”; For William S. Burroughs and Jean Genet and John Rechy and all those others…Oh, and Sylvester so I can Get up and dance to the Disco Heat!

You are The Sun

Happiness, Content, Joy.

The meanings for the Sun are fairly simple and consistent.

Young, healthy, new, fresh. The brain is working, things that were muddled come clear, everything falls into place, and everything seems to go your way.

The Sun is ruled by the Sun, of course. This is the light that comes after the long dark night, Apollo to the Moon's Diana. A positive card, it promises you your day in the sun. Glory, gain, triumph, pleasure, truth, success. As the moon symbolized inspiration from the unconscious, from dreams, this card symbolizes discoveries made fully consciousness and wide awake. You have an understanding and enjoyment of science and math, beautifully constructed music, carefully reasoned philosophy. It is a card of intellect, clarity of mind, and feelings of youthful energy.
