A project always in the making from birth by two guitarists - Arc Of Synapse was officially born in October 2006 when Simon and Tom were joined by drummer Rob to jam some riffs in a local home Studio. Enjoying just making lots of noise, song structures began to arise and take shape.Sometime into the beginning of 2007 we were looking to practice elsewhere and, I can’t remember how (I’m sure Tom does), we came across Four Aces Studios (RIP) which had some cool practice rooms and some decent guys working there (Goddard-Crypt of Locusts and Martin-Trigger The Bloodshed). Tom had been putting flyers and stuff around and we soon hooked up with bass guitarist James around March 2007.After writing a couple more songs and trying out a few vocalists, as well as moving to different rehearsal space again(Soundskitz) - it wasn’t until November that James introduced Robbie to the band to try out on vocals. His style and lyrical approach really suited the music and not too long after, in February 2008, we played our first gig and recorded our first EP simply entitled ‘Arc Of Synapse’. We recorded at Liquefy Soundz in Radstock with Goddard and Danny (Ignominious Incarceration/7 Crowns) as their first project under the moniker Nosebleed Recordings.
