When we can't dream any longer we die.

About Me

I have many nicknames. The top 5, in no particular order, would have to be: "H-Bomb", "The Incredible Houck", "Nemesis", "Hambino", and just plain "Houck." I'm not sure how I managed to rack up so many, but amongst my closest friends, just plain "Houck" seems to be the most popular. I like to imagine that such an unspecific nickname has a slightly different meaning and interpretation depending on the person who uses it. Maybe it means that I am just a cool guy. Maybe it means I am a bit of a geek. Maybe it means that I am a good friend. Maybe it means that I am compassionate and giving. Maybe it means I am wise. Maybe it means I am a wise ass. Whatever it means to my friends, all I know is that when I walk in the door and they yell "HOUCK" at an obscenely embarassing volume I don't mind it at all because I know it means I'm among friends. So, if you are reading this, and want to know a bit more about me, just give me the shout out.

My Interests

I have way too many interests to list, but if I had to narrow it down to one, I would say that I am most interested in "stories." I am dangerously addicted to stories of all kinds and from all sources. My primary "drugs" of choice include comic books, anime, movies, novels, tv, and video games. These are basically just the best and most entertaining sources I've found. People's individual stories are the best though, but not always readily available. I am always interested to hear yours though if you care to share.
