I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I have come to the conclusion that no matter what I say about myself, my words will always inadvertently be subjected to someone else's interpretation. So, I present this in the hopes that it will influence a perception that is beyond words. After all is said and done, the only way to truly know someone is to interact with them and form perceptions based on that, not on a bunch of words. Hmmm...let's see...Sophisticated caveman, modern day renaissance man with a diversity of creative passions, unconventional intellectual who not only thinks but also strives to live outside the proverbial box, shy extrovert, diplomat and translator, poet, artist, visionary, dancer, musician, spiritualist, lover, brother, son, uncle, friend, pragmatic dreamer with head above clouds while feet remain planted to the ground, precisely clumsy, hopeless romantic with a healthy dose of unbridled sensuality, teacher, student, leader, follower, nervous calm, cool, geek, sexy, nerd, a well balanced paradox, a mammal, and a human being. My Interests

Where do I begin ? Art(especially the surrealists like Dali, Escher, H.R. Giger, Picasso), music(to listen to and to play with on my turntables), dancing, rock climbing, reading(anything from classic literature to comic books, anything that catches me for more than one chapter), poetry, movies, hiking, camping, working out, swimming, travelling, drinking, sleeping, relaxing, painting, drawing, sculpting, full body massages, hot chicks, sex, making love, foreplay, animals, spiritualism, occult, vampires, ghosts, werewolves, love. lust, great friends, bands, ....and sooooooo mush more. I like to give pretty much anything that won't harm me or anyone at least one chance. Really, this is the only way to develop interests, which can ultimately turn into passions.

I'd like to meet:

Hot chicks, cool cats, mortals, gods, aliens, soulmates, lovers, friends, intellectuals, conversationalists, teachers, students, sages, shamans, humans. I'm not really looking for anyone in particular, because it is usually when I am not looking that I make that "connection". We need not agree, as long as we remain mutually respectful. I prefer to meet those that would help me bring people up rather than put them down. I only like to play games where everyone comes away a winner. I prefer to meet people who know nothing over those who know "everything". Everyone deserves at least one chance. Sometimes two, possibly three, but definitely one.(Peter Pan, the iconic image of eternal youth...I want to meet this dude so I can thank him for showing me the way.)

Music:

BREAKBEATS..FUNKY, OLD SKOOL, NU SKOOL, ETC.,pretty much anything from the 80's, with special consideration to Depeche Mode, New Order, The Cure, Erasure, The Smiths, Tears For Fears....I like a lot of different genres, from Pink Floyd to The Beatles, Elvis to Bon Jovi, The Platters to Prince, Jimi Hendrix to The Carpenters...you get the point? I like musicals like Les Miserables and The Phantom Of The Opera, smooth and classical jazz, blues, indies, classical music, trance, house, hip-hop, reggae, new age, etc, etc. REALLY, ANYTHING THAT MOVES MY MIND, BODY, AND/OR SOUL...THE FUNKIER, THE BETTER.

Movies:

Bladerunner, E.T., Akira, Ninja Scroll, The Usual Suspects, Snatch, Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels,The Matrix, The Lord Of The Rings, Star Wars, What The Bleep Do we Know?,The SECRET, The Five People You Meet In Heaven, The Ring, Hitch, pretty much anything by Tarantino snd Spielberg, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The House Of Flying Daggers, The Sixth Sense and various M. Night Shyamalan endeavors, Indiana Jones, The Polar Express, anything from Dreamworks or Pixar, Japanese Anime, various "chick-flicks", Say Anything, The Breakfast Club, The Fight Club, What Dreams May Come, V for Vendetta, Broken Saints, Clerks 1 & 2. The Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, The Crow,Edward Scissorhands, Big Trouble In Little China, .....I didn't realize how many movies I really dig. I like anything that evokes an emotional or intellectual response.

Television:

MyGen Profile Generator Heroes, Smallville, My Name is EARL, House, Supernatural, Night Stalker, Alias, The Simpsons, Martin, The Parkers, Seinfeld, Friends, Girlfriends, documentaries, anything on the History, Discovery, or Public Television channels....I am not much of a television afficionado, so I am selective about what I watch. Too much of the tube rots the brain and robs the imagination.

The essence of KARMA

I haven't a clue as to why the message became apparent when it did. I was sanding down the side of my car during a pretty intensive body repair project when KARMA came to mind. I suppose the circular...
