Veronica Mars, please. And people who like good conversation (flattering myself here, I realise) and comfortable silences.
Pretty random. If I could find a nightclub which played a healthy mixture of In Flames, Massive Attack, The Killers, Bjork, Lacuna Coil, The Automatic, Evanescence, Dido, REM, Lacuna Coil, Sleater-Kinney, Linkin Park and Killswitch Engage, I'd be set. It would also need to have nice comfy sofas and serve fantastic cocktails.
Donnie Darko, American Beauty, Fight Club, Amelie, The Matrix, Serenity, Pitch Black, X-Men, Out of Sight, Zoolander. And probably several hundred others if I sat and really thought about it.
Anything with bite, really. Particular favourites are: Lost, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica (the new one), Farscape, Buffy, Angel, Spooks and... er... Grand Designs.
Any Douglas Adams, but The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy in particular, Good Omens (where's that bloody sequel?), any Discworld (except maybe Monstrous Regiment, that was a bit disappointing), any Harry Potter (yeah, that's right, I said it), Cat's Cradle and Kurt Vonnegut in general, The Amazing Adventures of Cavalier and Clay. Any comics by Alan Moore, Joss Whedon or Brian Micheal Bendis.Currently reading Atomised by Michel Houellebecq.
Anyone who displays true altruism. Also Joss Whedon and Kevin Smith, they're cool.
