"Sometimes I'll casually harmonize with an old song and I'll remember that I've always found that same harmony as a toddler which makes me think that I was probably crooning in the womb."
Ronando has been singing even when he didn't know what the act was. Hailing from a mother with chops, he was the lucky one out of his two brothers to inherit the trait. Ronando's mom, encouraged her child to stay in art schools because she knew it would benefit him in the long-run. Ronando attended Schiel Primary Arts School from grades K-3 and graduated to the School for Creative and Performing Arts where he completed 4-12.
"P.A taught me a lot. The staff at that school taught me how to deliver as an artist and I'm grateful to take this knowledge with me everywhere I go." At 12 years old, the former pupil of Gerald Brown (1/3 of the International pop group Shalamar) wrote his first song entitled CARMELLA about a childhood girlfriend. The singer re-visited his songwriting abilities as a teenager and simultaneously revived the producer within him.
Ronando cut a rug for the all-male R&B band, Flypside in a show where they opened up for 80's pop sensation, Vesta Williams. In 2002, Ronando sang back-up for the beautiful R&B singer, CHANTS on a tour with Lil Romeo, Master P, Lil Corey, Silkk Da Shocker and others. The singer has lended vocals to K-Riley's THE ALLMIGHTY K-RILEY and Kenny P's STARTING FROM SCRATCH. Ronando debuted the single A GIRL LIKE YOU on The Money Playa$' DEAD PRESIDENTS. A year later, the singer was back on the single trail with DEEP INSIDE from Presidential Entertainment's OPERATION: MIDWEST.
