About Me

This is the part that should be filled with self important rambling and I hate that.In High Fidelity the narrator said "it's not what you're like, it's what you like."I believe you can tell a lot about someones personality and disposition by the little things they enjoy. There’s the way you see yourself, and then there’s the you inside the minds of those around you and it’s rare for those two to be in sync. That being said, here’s a list of some stuff (in no particular order and far from complete) that makes it all okay. Draw your own conclusions. 1. Clark’s Teaberry gum 2. Books and movies involving time travel (There’s so few good ones) 3. Quesadillas 4. Urban Ruins 5. Impromptu gatherings 6 – 10. Covers, mash-ups, remixes, montages & crossovers 11. Sas Christian’s paintings 12. Girls with gap toothed smiles ...so cute 13. The concept of the Flâneur 14. Zacharias and cats in general 15. Terry Gilliam’s films 16. Anything Greg Dulli does, basically. 17. Coast to Coast AM with George Noory more specifically, the wingnuts who call in 18. My Mom’s cop stories 19. Mutts 20. Hard Science Fiction 21. The cello 22. Green Tea 23. Fink Shirts 24. Hieronymus Bosch 25. Red River Gorge 26. Mantids 27. Allison Goldfrapp quite possibly the sexiest woman alive 28. Masks 29. Mama Ocean 30. Terrence McKenna 31. Sublime The word, not the band. Although they're okay too. 32. Schrödinger's cat 33. The sound of far off trains on a quiet night 34. The Maxx 35 – 37. Fortean Times , Skeptic & Scientific American 38 -39. A favorite pair of jeans and a well fitting belt. 40. The dysfunctional characters Gary Oldman tends to play. 41. Clinical anecdotes of neurological disorders. Truth is way stranger than fiction. 42. The smell of ozone in the air during thunderstorms 43 – 44. Kari Byron from Mythbusters and her artwork 45. The possibility that dolphins are as intelligent as us. 46. Sneezing 47. Long Exposure Photography 48. T.S. Eliot’s The Waste Land 49. The Theremin 50. Urban legends
