piratas de dios - is a project created by Larry O'Donnell to tell the story of how the pirates took over the world and how the orphans of the pirates took back the kingdom. The concept, which merges acoustic music with death metal melodies is lovingly refered to as "After Death Metal" The colaboration includes several musicians from ensenada including lalo from bar moloko, david and selena lomeli , also armando from bar moloko too and yiachine & Luis from after dark i bleed to name a few...more will join us we are sure look for the cd to be released on itunes within the next ?? days.

here's how the pirates took over the world, dear children... they convinced you that you had to be someone else to survive.
if you hide from yourself in order to live...then you are living a lie... that gives them the right to steal everything from you... because you are liars just like them [just like me]
...but there are some things the pirates can't steal...
your compassion... they have very little or no use for it.
your understanding of the truth... they have very little or no use for the truth either.
and your love and respect for one another... they can't understand.
build your kingdom on that, you orphans! because those treasures will even survive death...
