Im not asking anyone to agree with my veiws or opinions. Even if you disagree 100% at least when you came here you took the time to think for yourself, to come to a realization on your own free willed merit. If all i have done is made you think, then i have done my job. I welcome any altering veiws, oppinions and the like. I wont delete a comment or edit it in any way. Just because you stand on one side of a fence does not mean you should be ignorant to the other. Only by carefully studying both do you aquire the means to navigate the middle ground, and while you are in that middle, that is balance.
Some quotes you should really think about.
"If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy." - JAMES MADISON
"When the government fears the people, there is liberty: When the people fear the government, there is tyranny." - THOMAS JEFFERSON
"To announce that there must be no critcism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the american public." - THEODORE ROOSEVELT
PRESIDENT BUSH - SEPTEMBER 13, 2001 "The most important thing is for us to find bin laden. It is our number one priority, and we will not rest untill we find him."
PRESIDENT BUSH - MARCH 13, 2002 (a few months later) "I dont know where bin laden is. I have no idea and i really dont care. Its not that important. Its not our priority."
"Naturally the common people dont want war, but after all its the leaders of a country that determine the policy, and its always a simple matter to drag people along whether its a democoracy, or a facist dictatorship, or a parliament, or communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. This is easy, all you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country." - HERMAN GOERING, Hitlers Reich-Marshall at the Nuremberg Trials after WWII
"The Wrold is more peaceful and more free under my leadership." - George W. Bush
"The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. You may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. You may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate, nor establish love. Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." - Martin Luther King, Jr.
“In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.†- George Orwell
“I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country…corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.†- President Abraham Lincoln, Nov. 21, 1864
"It was curious to think that the sky was the same for everybody, in Eurasia or Eastasia as well as here. And the people under the sky were also very much the same—everywhere, all over the world, hundreds or thousands of millions of people just like this, people ignorant of one another's existence, held apart by walls of hatred and lies, and yet almost exactly the same—people who had never learned to think but were storing up in their hearts and bellies and muscles the power that would one day overturn the world." - George Orwell
