I am so in love with my husband!!!

About Me

So what can I say to sum up my life in a quick lil blurb? Well, I'm 27 years old, I recently married a wonderful man named Brian who whisked me off to a strange far away land called the West Side hahaha just teasing Brian... but seriously, we live in Fairview Park. Its new to me, but I'm getting used to not being in the country. I'm always happy to reconnect with long lost friends from high school or the Faith, so fell free to say hi if you stumble across my lil space here.
Now for basics... what's there to say? If you know me, then you know that I can be just as crazy as I can be calm and quiet. I am who I am, and if you don't like that person then you're out of luck. I love to go out with friends and dance til dawn, hike through the metro parks, or curl up with a good book and an even better glass of wine. I love the Lord, and I love my friends and family! I love excitement and trying new things, so if you wanna jump out of a plane or road trip to some off the beaten path location... give me a shout. I love with all my heart and soul whether you're a friend or my one true love. Basically I'm here to live the life I've been given, and help encourage others to live their's to its fullest also. Never take one single breath for granted... you truly never know when it could be your last. Love you...

My Interests

ON MY OWN: Reading, old movies, walks, and anything else that relaxes or interests me.
WITH OTHERS: Anything that involves being held in Brian's arms, watching movies and talking til dawn, walking/hiking at the many Metro Parks in the area, playing cards, dancing, dining at new restraunts (I love Lola and Brasa), shopping, going to museums, the Ballet, the symphony, plays or musicals/opera, watching movies, listening to local bands, sipping wine in front of the fire, spending time with the boys anywhere and doing anything, I love watching their faces light up when they spend time with their dad. Basically anything fun, cultural, or otherwise entertaining.

I'd like to meet:

I know I'll meet Jason again someday, when I'm standing in Heaven before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I can't wait to finally meet his Dad as well. I've missed not knowing him. Jason always said that Dad would have loved me, and that he would have loved to tickle me too.

Music:

I like just about everything with a good beat, decent lyrics, and/or a relaxing melody. Currently listening to: Craig Lyons latest cd. Also, any Praise & Worship cd I have close by when my spirit is in need of calming and/or refreshing.

Movies:

I'm becoming a big fan of M. Night Shyamalan's films. So far my favorite of his is either Unbreakable or The Sixth Sense. Some of my other favorite movies are: Office Space, Monty Python's Holy Grail, LOTR trilogy, Star Wars (all six episodes), The Fifth Element, Troy, Alexander, Kingdom of Heaven, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Princess Bride, So I Married An Ax Murderer, The Goonies, Sahara, Harvey, Sabrina, Gone With The Wind, Casablanca, and so many others... I love movies. Recently saw Pan's Labrynth... its a fantastic movie! I give it two glorious thumbs up!

Television:

Family Guy, King of the Hill, English comedies like Fawlty Towers and Red Dwarf, Survivor, House, Lost, Law & Order: SVU and Criminal Intent, The Unit, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, ER, NCIS, CSI (the original), CSI Miami, Grey's Anatomy, Brothers & Sisters, anything on Discovery, TLC, History Channel, late night reruns of Malcolm in the Middle, and I get a real kick out of the Magic Bullet infomercial. LOL.Brian has turned me into a Curb Your Enthusiasm fan. For those of you who aren't familiar with it... Larry David is the guy who did Seinfeld... also very funny!

Books:

The Bible, J.R.R. Tolkein ,C.S. Lewis, and Sharon Shinn, Christopher Pike, The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and anything else that pulls me into the storyline.

Heroes:

(Brian) The man who stole my heart, and taught me how to love. He is everything a man should be, and I am honored and blessed to be the woman he chooses to spend the rest of his life with. I thank God every day for bringing Brian into my life. I love him desperately, and I'm so happy to finally be his wife and help mate.(Superman aka Jason) Jason lives on in all of us. His memory is alive in our hearts and in our minds. Don't forget him, and please speak of him often... every chance you get. We are the ones who will carry on his legacy!!! He taught me that its okay to be young at heart... that not every minute has to be serious. He was a big kid... like Peter Pan at times. I loved his playful side. It wasn't until after he passed that I realized how special his child-like heart was, and his playfulness. He loved life, and wasn't ashamed to show it.(Jason's Dad) a man I never had the honor of knowing, but know from his legacy, and the words spoken about him, that he was a truly amazing man. Jason, I know, is reunited with him now, and loving every second of it. He loved him and missed him every minute of everyday.(David) he is the best father I've ever. He loves his boys, and would do anything for them. They look up to him, and can't wait to spend time with him doing new things, and going to new places. He lights up around them, and they come to life around him. He's an amazing friend, and has shown me a whole other world that I never knew existed. Whether its exploring a new trail, or trying a new food. Thank you for showing me that there is always another adventure around every corner! And of course all of the men and women serving in the Armed Forces... these men and women are true American heroes! Support them whether you believe in this war or not! They need to know that everyone at home is behind them!

Poem I wrote for Jason... not all poems have to rhyme ya know

For the grave has no arms to embrace with, and no lips to kiss with, or even a voice to whisper I love you with. All the grave holds is a cold casket, filled with empty hopes, and...
