Rock was born on the piano

About Me

I started playing the piano at the age of seven, and from there took off. In 2002 I began an intense classical piano study with Dale Nyboer in Lake Havasu City Arizona. I performed my first concerto the following year. Solo-recitals, accompaniment jobs, and piano/keyboard positions in various praise and worship teams followed. I also gave an encore performance of my concerto with a band at the University of New Mexico in 2004. In the following year I took an interest in singing, and began lessons, practice, and what not. I'm still not great, but if you think I'm bad now, you should have heard me a year ago. I've always progressing as a musician, and I'm excited about what the following years will bring. I'm currently studying Political Science and Journalism at Northern Arizona University as well as music, and I still continue my involvement with various praise teams. I'm also the worship leader for Flagstaff First Assembly. I mostly just enjoy playing and singing for Christ. I also write my own music and will be posting some demos shortly.
