About Me

I'm not quite sure what to say about myself. If I were to categorize "me" within three words, i'd have to say any antonym pertaining to outgoing, talented, or audacious. I have obsessive compulsive epochs, its becoming a nuisance. I'm not talking about opening doors with wet-naps or smoking rock, i'm talking more obscure things, like drinking bottled water and flossing my teeth. Am I just postponing Alcholism or am I just bored? Well I took one of those "surveys" in a magazine, Men's Health to be exact, and I was likely to, coincidently, be addicted to crack(alchol and herione were close seconds). Should I be paranoid about a 10 question quiz that is contrapositive to an ad about holding your wieght in a bar? Well I was, I suppose that quiz is why I began drinking so much water, to cleanse, although I never have been intoxicated before. Its safe to say now that I'm not binging on our Mother Earth's most plentiful resourse; however, I have fallen from my compulsiveness,to my uvula sticking to the dry roof of my mouth. I have been so arid that my last two bowel movements have felt as if a little Elf, possible named Gordy, is disecting my turds with a pick ax. Miniscule bits of dry turd descending into a porcelin bowl full of water, and if i'm lucky, some of the water will splash up onto my hindquarters, replenishing my anhydrous ass. I spelled resource wrong, and if I were to fix it, I would have to rewrite the rest of this, and its to painful, plus i'd spare you some counterproductive commas, --like that one, --and that one. I spelled too wrong. I try to read as much as I can. I'm fairly hard on TV when it comes to conversation, but I watch TV, I have even watched Laguna Beach. Phew, that was a skelton in my closet. I luv LC 4 ~evz~. I guess what i'm trying to convey is that i'm a hypocrite. I want to save the environment, but I drive a 1988 Lincoln Cartier with a cracked window and absent rear view mirror, I support free love and peace, and at times i'm an ass. I would beat around the bush and say i'm "imperfect" but then i'd be more of a hypocrite, right? I practically missed my entire senior year of JHS Football, i'm mildly depressed, or just depressed. I'm trying to fill the void by swimming and its the only form of physical activity I can do besides breathing. I'll end this abruptly, i'm not ravaging my wrists, or choking down meds, i'm just upset, i'm generally happy with my life, i just need to let go.

Music:

Beatles Post-Rubber Soul, Pink Floyd, and Led Zepplin. There are so many punk/emo/ska critics i'm not quite sure if i'm allowed to like more comtempory bands without being called out, or some kid screaming "Thrice" or "Norma Jean", while mascara stained tears drip down a young mans face. I'm quite sure there is no such thing as EMO. I enjoy classical music and rap, not so much all rap songs, just the single hits on the album, "Drop it Like its Hot" and "Baby Got Back" are personal favorites. I will admit that I have a "Mambo Number 5" cd, but it hasn't been touched since 6th grade I swear. Much like my Limb Bizkit and Kid Rock cd's...eh-em. Anyway! James Taylor, Elton John, Stones, Aerosmith, Lynard Skynard, Ozzy, ACDC, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie lol, ---I guess I categorize my musical preferences by race, preferably african american pianists, 2/3 blind. Its more ecclectic, I promise, steve miller band, tom petty, jimi hendrix.

Movies:

I'm always surprised of how many movies I actually see in theaters, I really I am, but I have never seen a movie I loved at Cinema 6, therefore, I dispise it. Forever. Shawshank Redemption, Eternal Sunshine, Requiem for a Dream, Napolean Dynamite, Road Trip, Rudy, Star Wars and Matrix trilogies, Ray, Million Dollar Baby, One Flew Over the Cuck Koo's Nest, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, Peter Pan(Disney), Adam Sandler Movies, Halloween, and (gulp) The Notebook & Bridget Jone's Diary, I should be ashamed of my manhood, or like there of. I'm sure there are more movies, but those are at the top of my head.

Television:

I have the support of many on this one. Seinfeld. Of course there are others. But Seinfeld is the one show I could watch forever. Its a solid answer on the "if you lived on a desert island game." Favorite episodes include the Kenny Roger's Chicken Episode and when Kramer trains "Little Jerry" for a cox fight. I watch Donald's Apprentice, No Martha, I TIVO Queer Eye and Oprah. Real World, Viva La Bam, Sex and the City and whatever happened to the Tom Green Show? Dubbya Tee F Zeez. For the most part, they are all comedies, but TV dramas are so far fetched lately, I was into the Desperate Housewives for a little, but it had too much gratuatous male flesh for my liking.

Books:

East of Eden, Snow Falling on Cedars, The Dead Zone, House of Sand and Fog, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby, The Grapes of Wrath, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and Friday Night Lights.
