Reverend Gene Garcia (Eugenio de los Reyes Garcia Garcia, 1970, Badajoz-Spain) is one of the most prominent singers of blues, jazz and soul of the European continent. He began singing in public in the mid-80's, when he joined the pacense band of rockabilly "Inlavables", that after all the years went by transforming into a de rock blues band (largely influenced by one's own Gene) and which still continues to offer concerts. In the early 90 formed the duo "The Revrendoes", together with his soul-brother Gecko Turner. That quality as a man of scenario has also led him to work as an actor (Festival Theatre Merida) and presenter at numerous festivals and events. Also has worked in concerts and recordings with various artists. It should be stressed in their speeches discs of his friend Gecko Turner, appearing as a guest singer on the topics "Dizzie" (Guapapaseá, 2003) and "Toda Mojaita" (Chandalismo Ilustrado, 2006), which reached global impact by being requested for remixes some of the dj's most prestigious of the moment. At present Gene continues to offer concerts all over the map: either accompanied only by a pianist or his usual banda ( "The Moochers," with guitar, bass, drums and piano), the Reverend Gene Garcia continues singing and preaching, wasting quality and magic, and bless with his voice and his presence to anyone lucky you to attend any of his concerts.
