Ispovest (split-up)

About Me

Founded in 2004 by Anton (drums), Cuk (vocals) and Djule (guitar). Soon Milan (guitar) and Mateja (bass) joined the band and in december same year Ispovest had it’s first gig, which featured cover songs by Slayer and Bombarder, as well as some of the band’s own songs, which were, at that time, influenced by black and thrash metal. Two songs were recorded during that period (Beskrajna noc/Vatra iz tame). In 2005, band was writting the songs for their first demo, which was recorder in the winter of 2005/2006 and was entitled "Povratak prognanih Bogova". The sound was raw and the production on that recording was poor but it was accepted very well among the domestic black metal audience. During the 2005. and 2006. Ispovest played with lots of serbian bands such as Wolf’s hunger, Posmrtna Liturgija, M.A.D./Goya, Azazel, Acroholia, Kuga... In the middle of 2006. Mateja is leaving the band. Ispovest took a little break, but soon started writting songs for the new recording, which is planned for the spring of 2008.Band’s main influences are the bands from the first and the second wave of black metal and lyrics are about slavic paganism, anti-christianity and death.THE BAND SPLIT-UP!
