In my opinion, the incidents reported here are symbolic of a breakdown of civility in this country.Unfortunately, thanks to the misguided character of “political corectness,†any discussion of the role of certain socio-economic groups in the deterioration of manners and politeness is impossible.I grew up in the 1940s and 1950s, when civility was commonplace. Sadly, we will never witness such calmness again.What we have now is a national calamity to be discussed only behind closed doors.What do you do when you live in a house and you have bad neighbor’s ? They have motorbikes, car repair, drinking, yelling, reving engines, they just don’t care. it’s almost 24/7. I have called the local Sheriff (I live in a city that does not have it’s own Police department) they quited them down for a few weeks, but they are back at it again. I was told by the Sheriff that the tennants (renters) feel they are being harrassed, the Sheriff Office where I live is under staffed and probably underpaid. The city I live in is small, and is only interested in doing things that generate taxes. Not enforcing health and noise ordinances. It a nice place to live most of the time except I have neighbors from hell, everyone is afraid of them also.What do you do when you live in a house and you have bad neighbor’s ?
