Don't worry what I mean by "skaboder": it's just the way I pronounce "skateboarder", close to Boston style.
I'm so thin-skinned that I always feel like I don't have my place in this world! Insults from other places make me desire to stay in my native Maritime provinces (New Brunswick-Nova Scotia-Prince Edward Island), where everyone respects me, my entire life and never ever cross the U.S. border.
I skateboard in overalls because I found out it's the ONLY way I'm comfortable enough to skate! Because of the shape of my lower body, a belt crushes my hip muscles and makes me unable to even walk, let alone skate. But as I only started skateboarding at age 27 and I was so weak during my school years that I had to be exempted from gym/PE courses in high school (I also hated sports back then), I ride slowly compared to everyone else and I can't ollie, my leg muscles being too weak, though I've improved a bit since my local skatepark opened in late 2006. But I still like to just ride my board around. I'm ashamed not only that overalls went out of style in 2000 but also that I've never seen anyone but myself skateboard in overalls.
I'm the one who's been called "Skautism" by Slap magazine. I have Asperger's syndrome, a lighter variant of autism, which makes it extremely hard for me to socialize, but I ended up more friendly though extremely shy from 1998 on, and more sociable following my discovery of skateboarding in early 2004.

I like to collect and listen to music on old analog formats: 33 and 45rpm vinyl, cassettes, 8-tracks, reel-to-reel, and 78rpm shellac; also Betamax for video. Growing up in the 80's has made me strongly attached for life to the vinyl and cassette formats. My iPod, a large 60GB Photo from 2005, is used for classical music only, and I create all the mp3's for it by myself from hard-copy originals I own.
My favorite computer of all time is the Commodore 64. I tend to be more encouraged to work on one of those than on a PC!

My Interests

Classical music, skateboarding, overalls. Yes, I like to skateboard in overalls!

I'd like to meet:

Rodney Mullen and Corey Duffel. (One at a time is fine, but if I meet both at once, they might help each other understand me better.) It's early Mullen's flatground freestyle that I wish to do on my skateboard, and Mullen is also to my knowledge my only fellow classical music lover in skateboarding. Duffel is the type of punk I like, open to accept his peers' differences, as well as being my fellow non-drinker and Sheckler fan.

Music:

..Although I can easily find something I like in all genres and times, I tend to listen almost exclusively to classical such as Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Sibelius, etc. I also like all boybands and everything from the 1980's. Because my parents didn't like rock and I inherited my mom's taste for classical so naturally, I don't know much about the history of rock apart from the 80's, and there are many rock classics I'm not familiar with at all and won't be able to familiarize with on my own. I tend to say that the only music I like is the music everyone else hates, but that's only an exaggeration.

Heroes:

Favorite skaboders: Rodney Mullen, Greg Lutzka, Ryan Sheckler, Colt Cannon, Rick McCrank, Paul Machnau, Chris Cole, Corey Duffel, Shaun White, many others. And Riley Hawk for getting me into skateboarding! I just like skaboders in general, but Mullen is the one with the most personality traits in common with me.
