community building; mountaineering; DIY; eco-saboteurism; hardcore intelligent people; skinheads, traditional; addiction and recovery; opposition to the global death corporation; getting together to get over our fucking differences and alleviate the hate that kills so many so unnecessarily - one human encountering another human
Traditional Skinheads, Oi! Skinheads, 2-Tone Skinheads, Mods, Scooterboys, Scooter Girls, Rudeboys, Rudegirls, Bootboys & Bootgirls; Maybe even some Punks! ABSOLUTELY NO RACIST SHIT, boneheads (aka, so-called racist skinheads) need not apply...
Fugazi, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Lungfish, Toots & The Maytals, Hector Berlioz, The Aggrolites, Johnny Cash, The 4skins, Antonin Dvorak, Fishbone, Hank Williams Sr. (the original), Millions of Dead Cops, The Specials, Louis Armstrong, The Evens, Fredrich Chopin, Descendents, Rachid Taha, The Toasters, Miles Davis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fear (by the way, they were an Oi! band and i'll fight anyone who says otherwise), Jean Sibelius, Scream, The Selector, Willie Nelson, Johann Sebastian Bach, Black Flag, Franz Schubert, Dead Kennedys, Merle Haggard, Fredric Handel, Fugazi, Rites of Spring, Sergi Rochmanonov, Bob Marley, Johannes Brahms, Bad Brains, Leonard Bernstien, Thelonius Monk, Pogues Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovski, Fugazi, i think The Beat's "Special Beat Service" is the finest crafted album, it's so overlooked - i absolutely hate U2 and The Beatles, i mean i seriously hate them.
The Outlaw Josey Wales, The Unforgiven, 3:10 to Yuma; Odd that they're all westerns, didn't plan it that way
Edward Abbey:Desert Solitaire, Monkey Wrench Gang; Annie Dillard: Holy the Firm, For the Time Being, Pilgrim at Tinker Creek; Moby Dick (actually, i think this is my favorite book); Lord of the Rings (no jokes please); Life of Pi; I've read a lot of the following: Immanuel Kant; Moses Maimonides, Soren Kierkegaard, Edmund Husserel; Jacques Derrida, Jean-Paul Sartre, Emanuel Levinas, Martin Heidegger, Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Martin Buber, Franz Rosenzweig, Gershom Scholem, Joseph Campbell; and i absolutely cannot abide the russian authors, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, etc. - how in the world did such false assumptions about the human condition become classics? Oh, and Shakespeare is really good despite all the people who say he is really good.
