Born out of an original project between Olivier and Mazen in a minuscule room of the City University Halls, formally a mental inst. something inside those walls must have gone to their heads and they started dreaming of something...Landed in London they ruthlessly began to create the right atmosphere for the most intense Breaks nights in the city. It must be said that the legendary C-64 played a great role in this.The boys met Francesco Giuffrida - alias MJooGoo - and here things really started picking up..fresh energy arrived from Barcelona and Naples as Jordi and Marco joined and even more wind blew into the the sails of the ship which was then officially named Citrical SoundS (abbreviated CSS..)First party last December 2007 in CosmoBar, second at the Bar Ortega on 12 April this year...wow...that was really getting somewhere...Events varied from legal to illegal in several blasting locations in EC1 , we have always aimed for quality of music as first objective and Citrical SOunds parties featured performances by JANETTE SLACK (Torture Gardens/Air), MJOOGOO (Highheels Sessions on NSBRadio Thursdays 7-9 GMT), DIVERTED, PLAZA DE FUNK (West Records - Winner Best Breakthrough DJ at Breakspoll 2008) and freshly announced REBEL SONIX (ex DEF INC) and NAPT for 4th edition of Citrical Sounds on 13 th June. We putthe best from the underground next to young talents MARCO BELLANDI and PEDRO PINTO and special guests from overseas such as DJ FOLLDELTOUT with their minimal-tech sounds has created a musical progression that gathers momentum as the night goes on..So if you want a blinding party, breaks without compromise, tech that will funk your ass off and a great vibe, come down..
