Nina Simone,Ute Lemper, all Berlin Caberat! P.J. Harvey,Irish music, anything dark and dusty. Handsome Family,Cocorosie, Camille O'Sullivan, Johnny Cash. I prefer to play music than listen though. I'm hopeless at what's going on, or having a music collection. I lose everything!
'The Secretary', Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon', 'The Eye', 'The wizard of Oz'. 'Jacobs Ladder', 'Apocylypse Now', The Ring, A Tale of Two Sisters...'Wings of Desire', 'Breakfast at Tiffanys'...
I've heard about it...(ok, Twin Peaks, on dvd, as won't schedule my life for the box, don't even have one...)
I'm a book nerd! 'The Famished Road' by Ben Okri, 'Sandman' by Neil Gaiman, anything by Edgar Allan Poe, 'Dracula' by Bram Stoker,'The Third Policeman' by Flann O Brien,'Delta of Venus' by Anais Nin shes so sexy! I also love mythology.....currently reading 'The Watchmen' by Alan Moore his book 'From Hell' is also a favourite. Been reading the Russians this winter, Tolstoy and Doystoyevsky, I really enjoyed Anna Karenina especially. Tolstoy makes my mind expand and takes up my entire self when reading him. I find Doystoyevsky a little more darker and slightly melancoly, but I'm still obsessed, especially with his spiritual debates ( reading Brothers Karmazov at the moment) and yet I also find he really understands the contradictory nature of the human mind...or does he hee hee...
Carl Jung, Anais Nin, Freida Kahlo, Alistair Crowley,Alan Moore,Neil Gaiman,Collete...
