The arrival of a band from the "Windy City" rings in the dawn of a new sound, the sound of Soul Pollution. Deeply rooted in the tradition of fine Chicago music, Soul Pollution integrates the influence of several musical genres to produce their distinctive sound. Musical threads uniquely woven to form Soul Pollutions melodic tapestries puts them in a class all their own. Lending themselves to the likes of the grunge heroes of yesterday and the metal pioneers of days past, Soul Pollution offers the listener a chance to believe in rock-n-roll once again.
Founding members, Larry Derby (drummer/song writer), and Mick Stone (guitarist/song writer) built Soul Pollution upon the foundation of past projects. Between the two, Larry and Mick share more than twenty years of experience on the local music scene and are truly masters of their craft.
In early 2003, Soul Pollution called upon aspiring vocalist and song writer Tony Fabian to be the voice of Soul Pollution. With ten years of choir experience, Tony was chosen because he exemplified professionalism, exceptional timbre, and unique vocal style.
The latest addition to Soul Pollution is bassist Joe Goga. As a part of the current line up Joe has added his sweet bass driven soul to Soul Pollution's music. He has a professionalism that is unmatched, with experience and musical prowess Joe Goga will help to elevate the band to the next level.
The current line up of Soul Pollution will allow the band to progress from an idea to a reality. Fueled by passion, Soul Pollution offers the listener a unique sound experience wrought by perseverance and monumental talent.
