this song, more specifically this video, is the first time i truly realized there was a whole world full of music that didn't include crappy radio pop or my dad's old college records. because, oh my god, if i had to listen to jan & dean ONE MORE TIME, i was going to kill someone.
and i remember the first time i saw this video. i was sitting on my mom's bed when it premiered on mtv's 120 minutes. i've never been the same since.
