My Interests

I don't have time like I need to do all the things that I like. It's crazy, cuz I'm so multi-talented, and even want to expand on that, but don't cuz I'm pre-occupied, so it feels like a waste of talent. When I get the chance, I dabble...The best thing I'm well at is painting. It's hard to fully enjoy it though cuz I'm own worst critic. The next talent I possess is writing: I write all kinds of stuff: in my journal, my blogs, poetry and for the school paper & local publications. I'm want to write for something bigger than that though, like Vibe. So I'm going to school to get my degree ((hopefully)). I'm such a tomboy ((who would think!)), I love sports, but I'm sure as hell not that athletic. Well, I am, but I would consider myself a 'lazy athlete I love playing sports, but I need somebody to push me though, cuz I won't do the whole work out thing by myself. I love sewing and whatnot, too. When I was younger, I used to cut up and re-sew my clothes, then color-coordinate my closet, cuz I wanted to be a designer. I still take old clothes and re-sew them the way I want in my spare time ((that's the cheapest way to stay fresh)). I know how to make a lot more things now than clothes, like pillows and curtains, I can hook up a whole crib now, thanx to my artistic Grandma. I love to read, even though I don't get to read the way I would like. I hate studying though, or maybe its what I'm studying or how much I have to study rather that makes me hate it, cuz sometime I can be such a nerd, you'll think I had start A's! I love playing games: cards, Mahjong, Monopoly, and PacMan. I'm good at a few other ones, too. I play sports for fun, but I'm only competitive when I'm playing games, especially when I go bowling. I love to cook/experiment, too. I like trying different cusines ((oh yea, I like to eat, too...a lot)). Hopefully, I can see the world and try them all. One more I like to do, and this is probable my favorite thing: I love taking naps! At the end of the day, I be soooooooo tired, that I just fall out on the floor!!! That's might be the reason why I don't get to do anything else!

I think I have to many favorites to name: Boomerang, Digging To China, Mo' Money, A Thin Line Between Love And Hate ((that's my all time favorite movie)), Love And Basketball, Set It Off, Friday, Next Friday, Friday After Next, Coming To America ((the funniest movie ever)), Revenge of The Nerds, Lean On Me, Rain Man, All About The Benjamins, A Bronx Tale, Finding Nemo, I Am Sam, Saw, Saw 2, Philadephia, The Wiz, Raising Arizona, The Kid, The Little Mermaid, Beauty & The Beast ((I cried every time I watch those two))...I can name like 40 other movies, so I'll stop there.

Television:

Malcolm in the Middle is the funniest show on earth!!! After that, I love Everybody Hates Chris, Martin, The Jefferson, The Flavor of Love ((and I Love New York))((true addict)), Spongebob Squarepants, Family Guy: those are the funniest show on TV. I watch almost every re-run of every sit-com they show on basic cable. I also like all the DIY shows, and the cooking shows, Sportscenter, Cheaters, and my two favorites: House and Law & Order ((SVU)). I wish I could good to more sports events ((but until then)) but they're just as good on TV. I watch a lot of them too: football, basketball, baseball ((until I get bored, it is boring!!!)), tennis ((I used to play in high school)), boxing and Nascar (very unusual of a Black girl, I know, but it's actually interesting, and fast)).
